We are all the couples we have ever experienced

Relationships are stories that are built over time, threads that intertwine in a dance between past and present, between who we were and who we are becoming. Encounters, choices, expectations, goodbyes: each of these experiences marks a transition and connects to the next in an ongoing dialogue with the other.

The Duogramma was created to give new meanings to couples’ experiences. It is a complex and powerful tool that combines narration and graphic representation to offer a new and dynamic reading of relationships. It is not a test, it is not a diagnosis, it is not a list of events. It takes into account everything that is said, every sign, every plot that takes shape in the story, how each story relates to the previous one or the next one.

It is a tool that, in a precise and detailed way, allows the therapist to accompany patients and help them explore the way they live the relationship.

Because yes, the narrative is important

We are the stories we tell about ourselves, and the way we tell them shapes us, guides us, transforms us. The Duogramma is not only a method for understanding relationships, but a space for rewriting them. Because our history is built not just on the facts, but through the meaning we choose to give to what happened.

The Duogramma shifts the focus from “what really happened” to “how we tell the story”. It does not seek an objective truth, but enhances subjective perception, the way in which a person chooses to make sense of their experiences. In this safe space, you can explore silences, challenge assumptions, and retrace your own path.

Training Itineraries

The Duogramma cannot be improvised. It is an articulated instrument that requires a trained eye to capture all its nuances. To be able to use it in your clinical practice, it is not enough to know it theoretically, you need experience to deal with it effectively.

For this reason, our Duogramma training courses are interactive and experiential. Before proposing it to your patients, it is essential to try it on yourself. Only then can we truly understand its transformative potential.

We brought the Duogramma to Italy and beyond national borders, making it known and applied especially in Latin America, where our method found fertile ground for comparison and growth. In Mexico, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay, we train therapists and professionals who today wish to use it in their clinical and training work. We are available to take it anywhere, in person and online, where there is a desire to investigate couples’ relationships from a revolutionary narrative perspective.

What those who have already participated in our training say

These are the voices of those who experienced this path: therapists who discovered new interpretations and transformed the way of working with couples.
Eleonora Bellini
Clinical psychologist, systemic-relational psychotherapist, musician
Two great professionals, an innovative and infinitely useful insight for any professional who deals with couples therapy and relationships in general. It was one of the most interesting trainings done so far.
Ph.D. Edgar Lomelí Aquino
Psychologist, Non-Monogamous Relational Systemic Psychotherapy
The Duogramma is configured as a rich and versatile resource, capable of offering therapists a clear and dynamic map of the couple's interactions, integrating reflective and narrative elements in a process that stimulates reflection and change. It highlights the dynamics of communication, relational polarizations, areas of conflict and the resources of the couple, but also of more complex bonds, that is, non-monogamous consensual relationships. The Duogramma, in addition to being a powerful clinical tool, is a reminder for the therapist to reflect on their own relational modalities, their past experiences, and the patterns they implicitly bring to the therapy room.
Maria Teresa Bertollo
Psychotherapist and Sexologist
This is a very good and quality course, which provides an innovative tool that can be used directly in therapy. The teachers are two professionals who, with their sensitivity and skill, make the lessons enjoyable and interesting. I recommend it. It was very useful for me, I started thinking about my prejudices and my personal idea of a couple relationship and now I find myself with a "new" tool to use in therapy.
Michela Eigenmann
Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist
I read a book that explains the 10 principles of effective couple's therapy. He explains what should be the characteristics of a healthy couple and what are the alarm signals that will lead to separation if they are not corrected in time. The therapist's job is to teach the couple to be a good couple based on these principles. So, fortunately, I attended the systemic couple's therapy course and the Duogramma, where I learned that I am not the one who has to explain to the couple how to be a couple, but, on the contrary, I acquired tools and a practical approach to get the couple to tell me who they are, where they come from and where they want to go with the support of therapy.
Lúcia Vinagre
Psychologist, Clinical Analytical and Body Psychotherapist. Brazil.
The Duogramma, with the visualization of the graphic image of a couple's stories throughout life, can give a new meaning to their way of loving, integrated with self-knowledge. It can therefore facilitate a change where possible. I am very grateful to Teresa and Glória for sharing their thoughts with us, collaborating on a chapter of the book “O self do terapeuta. A cartografia dos tesouros escondidos no terapeuta” (The therapist's self. The cartography of the treasures hidden in the therapist) of which I am co-curator and partly author.
